This page will walk you through how to book your Las Vegas trip with Expedia - one of the most popular online travel agencies in the world for Las Vegas trips. The process is fairly simple however this step-by-step guide will help you if you're new to booking online:
#1) If you know the exact dates you're travelling, you can use the Expedia Wizard below to create your own Las Vegas package.
Decide if you want to book your flight, hotel and cars separately or if you want to see Las Vegas packages (flight + hotel).
Enter the dates of arrival and departure, where you're going to and coming from, and how many adults are going in the spaces above. Then click "Search" in the bottom right hand corner of the wizard.
#2) The wizard will then ask you more detailed questions like what type of package you need (flight + hotel, flight + hotel + car), how many rooms you need, etc. Fill out this information and click "Search"
TRAVEL TIP: If it's your first time in Las Vegas and you're staying on the Las Vegas Strip, you probably do not need to rent a car as many of the hotels are in easy walking distance of each other
Expedia will then search it's inventory of Las Vegas deals and give you a list of options to choose from.
#3) Scroll down the options, click on the titles for more details (you can always press your computer's Back button to return to the original list of deals), and have fun making your package selection!
#4) When you decide on which vacation package you want click on the link that says "Choose and Continue".
You'll then be given more details about the package like your flight times, room options and any savings or other discounts available. (You can also choose to change your flight times as well).
#5) If you are sure you want the current package, scroll down and click on the link that says "Continue Booking This Package"
You'll then be offered the option of customizing your trip by booking other ground transportation from the airport, Las Vegas show tickets, attractions and more.
Travel Tip: If you really want to see a show you might want to book this now along with your trip as high-demand shows like Cirque Du Soleil quickly sell out.
#6) After you've customized your trip, scroll down to get a final total for your trip. If you're satisfied you can click on the link that says 'Continue Booking This Package'
#7) You can then review the package details and read the rules and restrictions. Once you've done this and everything is to your satisfaction you can click on the link that says "Review preferences, then purchase"
#8) To finalize your trip (and reserve your trip at the stated price) you must create an account with Expedia. It's very easy to do and allows them track your trip details & itinerary just in case you have any questions.
Simply click on "Create an account with Expedia", fill in your information and coninue booking your trip.
#9) Once you're finished booking and paying for your trip you'll get an itinerary to print out (you'll also be sent a detailed itinerary package by e-mail) as well as any other details pertinent to your trip package.
If you want to check the status of your itinerary at any time, you can go to Expedia and sign in to your account. It's also a good idea to check on the status of your trip several days before you go.
#10) If you have any questions about what you booked, you can always call their support line and get help. We've used it and they were excellent. You can also e-mail them questions using their Customer Support forms and they will send you a reply within 4 hours.
